HOW COVENIENT IS ECR?

  • Course materials are available 24/7 from any place where there is internet access.
  • Materials can be sent to the library via email to the relevant subject librarians or the Library Circulation Desk staff
  • This makes it convenient for the lecturer and it also speeds up the process.
  • Students can either print or download documents.
  • Easy to manage and update.

HOW TO PLACE MATERIAL?

  • For materials that are not you own work you will need to clear copyright with the copyright officer (Thapelo Mashishi, thapelom@uj.ac.za, 011 559-2182)
  • Lecturers who want to submit materials for the ECR can download the DALRO Blanket License form, which needs to be used for all copyright permission requests. No materials will be placed without clearance from the Copyright officer.
